Hi everyone, I am sending this announcement to inform you that the school is going to be having a casual day on the 23rd January. We were reminded to ask you if it could be possible to not send the children in very restrictive clothing such as that may hinder their ability to do things efficiently and independently such as go to the bathroom and sit down in class. 1 Euro will be collected from each child, to be donated to the community chest fund, as the charity picked for this year.
On another note, on the 24th January, I have decided to implement a cooking session with the children. We will be baking steam engine biscuits. Would it be possible if I could collect 50c per child so that I could buy all the ingredients needed for the activity. I have made sure that the recipe adheres to school policy and will not contain any nuts. Any children that have gluten intolerance will be provided with gluten free products. Each child has been calculated to make 4 biscuits from their batch, therefore please send a small lunchbox with some serviettes so that they could take them home safely.
